Fix the ending.

Its an rpg without an ending. Ya gotta fix it!

Great Potential

First of all, my rating isnt because of the current bugs because Ive read that these have been fixed in a patch to be released very soon, so this is based on my playthrough only. When I first started playing the game, I was very interested in getting further because the graphics are great and the turn based dice rolling combat was unique and seemed really compelling. Unfortunately there was nothing that came along in the rest of the game that improved upon my initial impressions. The game itself was very short, and would have been even shorter if it werent for the time taken in combat just for rolling the dice and moving one tile at a time. It was also very easy and personally I couldnt see trying out any hybrid builds because you wouldnt have enough dice rolls or different class skills to beat the more heavily armored opponents later on. There was very little interaction with the environment other than turning a few steam valves here and there, and talking to a very limited number of npcs. It would have been nice to see some puzzle elements added with traps or buttons/levers etc. Engineering seemed like it could add a dynamic element to the game, but for the most part it just seemed useless. I guess people who enjoy crafting might like it, but I didnt even create one item since the plans I got were useless to me. Pros: Great graphics Interesting combat system Decent Story (Although the final cutscene is currently not working) :( Controls and Interface are solid and intuitive Cons: Very easy if you stick with one skill tree Limited number of different enemies Very short (6-8 hours to completion for most) Combat very repetitive for the most part Engineering not really utilized Lots of chests with equipment, but you really only upgrade your gear 3-4 times in a playthrough.

Should have been longer

I loved this game, sucked me right in and after a few false starts (it did seem hard at the beginning) I started sailing along. Unfortunately it seemed to end rather abruptly and left me wondering if the game was over or not? There didnt seem to be anything else to do and it left me stuck in the final fight area after successfully defeating the boss.

A Great RPG

So far, a very interesting game. Quite atmospheric, and the battle system is fun and unique. Bonus points for supporting fast app switching, it really comes in handy. However, Id really appreciate the ability to rotate the display 180 degrees. I am also experiencing the glitch at the end which traps you in the end boss area. Regardless, Id definitely purchase a sequel! UPDATE: So the end cinematic glitch is fixed, but those who have finished the game before the update are still stuck?

Fantasic game but over so quickly

Glad I picked this up on sale. Great game but over before you know it. Would give it 5 stars if I hadnt finished the game the same evening I bought it

Great game but Im stuck in th elast boss level

What a great game but, like many others, I am now stuck after killing the last boss. What do I do? Im trapped in the room.

Want more!

And more levels, you are locked at level 20. Make expansions already! After destroying the final boss, allow the credits to finish rolling, otherwise you may not unlock two additional bonus areas to play in.

Great game

Great game but I found myself stuck more than once with not enough potions and without the ability to travel back to a city to buy more ... Had to start the game from the beginning on those occasions.

Massively overrated

This game needs polish, and loads of it. I thought maybe it deserves a 3, but all the crashes grant this a well-deserved 1. Where to start? Paper thin plot. Non-existent, uninteresting, unoriginal, uninspiring to drive you forward. All the characters are cardboard cutouts, but that offends the thickness of cardboard. Plotwise, something or other is going on, and that means you are sent off vault to vault with no logical sense of why. Yes, grans being all mysterious, but others also send you pointlessly to places. Cutscenes are laughably incoherent, where Rose makes these incredible assumptions and deductions based on random visions and events. Oh no, hes after the hammer...because hes holding it. Guess shes psychic or something. Ridiculously unbalanced: cakewalk for assassins that can 1 or 2 hit kill anything quite early, very difficult for shamans. Broken dialogue. Badly written as well, complete with weak grammar, poor wording, self-conscious, and worse yet, it seems like missing speech (such as the goons in grans home after Loki vault). One of those guys also freezes the game consistently partway through his text. A lot of the art is also very amateurish. Think teenaged Deviant art. Repetitive gameplay and combat. Rinse, lather, repeat. Puzzle (if they can be called that) elements pander to a kid level of turning a single valve to open something, or sneaking by characters that are surely blind, deaf, and mute. Weak tutorial. They explain a few screens, but you may continue to be mystified by what all the other numbers and letters mean in your gear. And again, the crashing. Other reviewers speak more eloquently of this. Be prepared to load this often. Such. A. Mess.

Best iPhone rpg

Amazing game, its like a turn based Torchlight you can take everywhere. I dont think Ill ever be able to stop.

Dissapointed

My character walked through beating every enemy without problems. I get to the end and it is not possible to even start defeating final enemy. Not worth the money paid. I wont be wasting my money on this software publisher again.

Love this game, more please!

The combat system is fun as heck and the setting isnt all too cliche. Its a whole pile of joy and I hope they make a sequel or an add on for this one.

Seriously great

This is a great turn-based rpg. I am not big on rpgs in the first place but once I got used to rolling dice every time I attacked something I had a great time. Really great scenery and graphics are smooth. Plus its universal! The last update was great, got my moneys worth for sure.

Fantastic

Great gameplay, story and some of the best skill and equipment balancing Ive ever seen on any platform. The different skills form a base but the equipment allows you to almost instantly retool any character on the fly to play in a completely different way. I would love more content but only because whats already here is so immensely satisfying

Great game!

Amazing! Simply amazing. Especially since they put it on sale for $0.99 it was a great deal I wouldve bought it for its original price as well.

Solide RPG buy this game

Tickles me gaming fancy

I love this game. Im a old school "girl" gamer and this RPG HAS IT! The graphics are ok but like I said Im old school and used of the graphics being ok. I liked the dice rolls and its easy to play. Alexis Gears.

Excellent gameplay and story

The game highly surprised me by just how engaging it is. If you want to be transported to a mystical world for a while, this is what you should get.

great dice combat, but not much else

Dice combat against enemies is very satisfying. There are three different class skill trees that you can mix and match from, and they all provide unique and satisfying upgrades. But everything else about the game is bad. The games from 2010 and looks it. Theres no Retina iPad support. Everything looks like its running on an N64. You use a virtual direction pad to move and you have to tap one space at a time to avoid running into enemies. Equipment stats look like a spreadsheet.

Pretty good, but...

Its a nice game, completely linear though - also, what the hell is with the lack of ending? You just kill the last boss and thats it, without any information? Come on...
